Karilė Levickaitė is a psychologist, human rights and mental health expert. She is publicist, educator and human rights advocate, head of non-governmental organization „Mental Health Perspectives”, member of national WHO QualityRights team in Lithuania, member of numerous networks and coalitions acting in the fields related to of mental health and human rights. Karilė has served as board member of “Mental Health Europe” 2015-2021, contributed to mental health reform and human rights promotion in Georgia, Russia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Ukraine. Back in 2014, she was one of the initiators of the coalition „Mental Health 2030“, advocating for rights based mental health care in Lithuania. Last 14 years Karilė has participated in forming mental health policy in Lithuania, has provided mental health literacy education for various communities and trainings for specialists, participated in research and delivered number of publications.
